The BECU PV substructure is the new and innovative open-space PV substructure with a south-facing orientation, which can also be used as a ground-level agrivoltaic system.
Simplicity is the key:
- Galvanised reinforcement rods are driven into the ground.
- The BECU brackets are mounted on the reinforcement rods.
- The PV modules are then fixed to these.
The result is a self-supporting substructure in which the PV modules rest on the reinforcement bars at a height between 1.2 to 1.5 metres with an pv module inclination of 4 degrees.
This results in large PV blocks with dimensions of up to 40 x 40 metres.
